Kids’ Book by Danica McKellar Coming This Fall
Danica McKellar is once again extolling the magic of numbers in a new picture book for children, People magazine reports.
Random House Books for Young Readers will publish the actor and mathematician’s I Love You A Counting Book Full of Love, illustrated by Josée Masse, in the fall. The press describes the book as “a wonderful learning resource and a perfect read-aloud at bedtime.”
McKellar first rose to fame for her role as Winnie Cooper on the sitcom The Wonder Years, which ran from to In , she graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a mathematics degree. She has long been an advocate for math education.
McKellar has written 11 mathematics-themed books for children, including Goodnight, Numbersand Bathtime Mathtime Shapes, illustrated by Alicia Padrón, and The Times Machine! and Double Puppy Trouble, illustrated by Masse.
