Without them, some of the most beloved films, including the first full-length film, Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, in 1938, introducing the music of Tchaikovsky to mainstream cinema in Fantasia, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, or even Mickey Mouse, would not be the beloved classics they are today.
One of my favorite Biographies I've read this year so far....
For someone who worked for Disney and appreciates Film History, I truly didn't know about 90% of these women, so this was a great introduction to each of those I was less familiar with.
The other part that makes this particular collection of women's mini-biographies so awesome are its incredibly exquisite illustrations by (Disney Book Illustrator) Lorelay Bove. A real treat.
